Our showroom in Pewsey is home to a constantly changing collection of rugs, from our own designs to handpicked Moroccan pieces.
Seeing a rug in person makes all the difference. You can feel the texture, see the colours in natural light and get a much better sense of scale.
We are always happy to help with size, colour and placement, whether you know exactly what you’re looking for or need a little help finding the right rug.

Rugs designed in Wiltshire, made by hand
Our own collections begin here in our Wiltshire studio.
Our jute rugs are original Tate & Darby designs handwoven by skilled makers in India. We work with natural materials and love the small variations that come with something made by hand.
Alongside jute, our collections include handwoven wool rugs, flatweaves, runners and collaborations, with designs ranging from quiet natural textures to stripes, pattern and plenty of colour.
Many of our rugs can also be made to order in different sizes and colours.
Handpicked Moroccan Rugs
We have been sourcing rugs from Morocco for many years and work closely with our makers there.
Our collection includes vintage and traditional Beni Ourain, Azilal, Boujad, Beni Mguild, Beni Mrirt, kilims and other one-of a-kind pieces.
We choose each rug individually for its colour, pattern, texture and character. These little irregularities and signs of age are often exactly what makes these rugs so special.
As the collection is constantly changing, there is always something new to discover.
Bespoke Rugs
Sometimes the perfect rug doesn’t exist yet.
Our bespoke service allows many of our designs to be made in your choice of size, colour and pattern. We can also colour match to fabrics and other elements within an interior scheme.
Some clients come to us knowing exactly what they want. Others simply send us photographs of their room and ask for ideas. We are very happy with either approach.
We work with both private clients and the interiors trade.

Can I visit Tate & Darby to see the rugs?
Yes. Our showroom is in Pewsey, Wiltshire, where you can see our own collections alongside a changing selection of Moroccan rugs. We are open on our regular showroom days and can also arrange appointments at other times.
